Autumn in Brooklyn
As September ends, the air and the colors of the leaves change, Brooklyn welcomes and celebrates the beginning of the season of autumn. The world cools down and we begin to enjoy the soft rustle of leaves beneath our feet. We smell the spices of cinnamon and clove in our cooking. The nights get cooler and baseball season winds down as the nights grow darker earlier and anxiously we wait for the World Series in October.
Take advantage of the last few warn days by visiting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and walking through the gardens, enjoying the current plants in bloom.
Enjoy cookbooks, novels, and music from Brooklyn Public Library with an autumn theme.
