The Book a Librarian service allows you to reserve a free half hour session with a professional reference librarian at the Central Library.

How It Works

• Appointments can be made Monday-Friday between 10AM-12PM and between 2-5PM

• Make an appointment with our online form.

• Please allow 1-2 days for a response, especially when submitting questions over the weekend.

• In order to provide the best possible service we highly recommend having a Brooklyn Public Library card. Click here to get a library card.
